Even with the attention Multiply has recently garnered in the national
and worldwide press, it's still kind of nice to receive the same kind
of attention on a more local level.
So we were
thrilled to see Multiply on the front page of the Palm Beach Post this
past Monday. The article is also available
online. Be sure to have a look at it -- it features some
great quotes from a number of Multiply users!
Last
month, another prominent South Florida newspaper, the Miami Herald, ran
a
feature on Multiply. It's such a great article that we'll
forgive them for a couple of minor inaccuracies ("Multiply also lets
[users] check their e-mail," which we do not, and "Multiply says it has
more than two million members," while we've already passed three
million).
On the whole, we're proud of these two
great writeups from local news outlets!
I found out about this site thru the Post. Once in, I got hooked. Even my mom joined in on mine. As I build my site and begins to look like more like one, then I'll get other family/friends to join as well. I'm having a blast building it - it's very easy. Thanks for this. Cindy.
I want the Multiply staff to hear this. I'd like all members to see it as well. I have never seen a more user friendly online community. Whoever put the code together neads to be congratulated for their fine work. Fast loading, useful feature, easy to navigate, log-on/ log-off access using my local e-mail server, fast loading and I'm sure I left a few out. It isn't even necessary to play the cookie game. Thanks all and repost this for everyone to see if you wish........ old bob --.-

I agree with all of the above posts. One of the things I like the most here is the ability to limit access to SOME of my posts to my network and friends while making others fully available.

congrats to MULTIPLY , it growing like multiply like anything, this is the speciality of MULTIPLY ,it is Ambassoder of the WORLD to bring peace , unity, share thoughts and help one another through friendship www.geocities.com/card_mission
I enjoy the multiply community and do find it to be the easiest to use, as well as the family value that makes it my destination of choice. I do not have to worry about sexually seductive ads popping up when my family comes to log in and see pictures of my daughter ala MySpace.
I'm curious if the three million users reflects simply the number of accounts that are created or active users? I'd love to know the actual metrics, as three million users, although it sounds great, how many of these are active (i.e, used within the last 30/60/90 days). Just an interesting statistic.
Nice article and so much for the so-called (or self-called) experts out there. I think one of the biggest problems Multiply currently has, is that people tend to equate it with My Space including all the problems My Space generates (like spam). It's an additional plus for so many from the world community contributing v. being overwhelmed by just one country and that's been a welcome breath of fresh air.
