If your "My Multiply" message board feels strangely like home, there's a good reason for it -- in addition to being the first thing you see when signing in to your account, it's where you'll find pretty much all the information that really matters to you on Multiply.
With the recently unveiled Multiply 3.0, we've combined two of the most useful pages formerly available on Multiply -- the Welcome and Explore pages -- to create the actually quite useful My Multiply page, which ought to delight anyone who's used either of the old pages.
The Welcome page was the first one you would see when signing in to Multiply. You'd be greeted with a "Don't Panic" "Welcome, [your name here]!" written in big, friendly letters across the top of the page. But that's not all. The Welcome page also featured
A short summary of all new posts in your network and groups (you can now find this on the right column of your My Multiply page)
A list of upcoming events from people you know (this is now also in the right column, a little ways down from the new post summary)
A tag cloud featuring the most common tags in your network (now found below the upcoming events)
Links to the most recent (ahem) Multiply staff blog entries (okay, you get the idea)
...though it didn't show you the actual posts in your network. You'd have to check Explore for that, and for other Explore page niceties, like notifications of invitations you've received.
But now you don't have to. And this is a good thing.
Hi, the new Multiply looks great. :) Pity though that I can't get "My Site" to load. It keeps saying: Please wait loading On all "My Site" items :( That is a bummer to me.
The headshot image on the webpage doesn't get displyed that well. Its burried towards the right corner of the screen. I would prefer it to be a bigger picture and well inside the page (completely visible). I think its the problem with theme I am using. Can you suggest some alternative?

there's only one thing i need the most from you Multiply guys, please please oh please let us edit the page title, I have my custom css there and i want to change it but i can't do anything. PLEASE. :((

Bring back the option where we can click view blogs or view videos. I don't usually like viewing videos and pics by my contacts so it's a nuisance to scroll through them all to find blogs.
When you wave your mouse over the welcome post, the right side should display "EDIT/HIDE". Click on "EDIT" and the welcome window should change into a window with free text spaces. The free text space next to "TITLE" is where you can change your message. When finished, click the "SAVE" button at the bottom of the window.

If you will notice underneath the phrase "SHOW POSTS FROM" there is the phrase "CUSTOM FILTER" and "PREFERENCES" with little blue circles next to them. That is where you can edit what unread content will appear.

From there, just change it to what you want. If error messages pop up when you roll the mouse over, try re-loading your page and try again.
i have a question... how can we delete songs from our database? i just want to delete some uused songs out from my database and there is no any feature to delete them. please help.

Agreeee....bring it back the old feature. I like music, its iritated when u need to scroll down one by one just to find what ur contact's music newly posted.

Agreee...I prefer to have tha ability to display which journals I want people to read, and which journals I want people only able to read it if they go through Blog.
The pictures of what is in a post are still waaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too small. I don't need to see people's avatars, or a description of their post. I want to see the pictures and you've minimized them down to a literal thumbnail with a big red circle on them. That's nuts. Pictures are what get me to look at a post, not the avatars and not the decriptions. It's all in the pictures. Bring back the old version or at least give me a choice of which to use.
I would like a box added to the right rail of "My Multiply" (The Message Board) with a "Link List" of all the "Custom Message Filters" that I've created. For "One Click Access" to those filters.

However, I am having some problem in uploading. I am using Firefox 2, and Java uploader. Before i have no problems uploading but now, whenever i upload using java uploader. It doesn't redirect to the new album. but it does redirect when uploading in an existing album. One more bug that i encounter is that the temporary directory or link stays from my list. As a result i have broken links when i'm browsing through albums. I hope you can fixed this as well on a daily patch. Thanks and more power to multiply!

I've the same problem and thats what I've been doing but it just doesn't change at all. Help. :| It works when I edit in the settings page but they removed it. :(
The new my multiply is great. You just combine welcome, explorer & post, all together in one page, and still look neat. You should also mention that:
* There is Message Board Setting for number of items per page, how to open link window, sorting mode, view mode, next page on the bottom, subscribe-pin-block buttons & hide mini-profile.
* And Custom Filter. Where we can define certain network distance. close only, medium only, or distant only or in a 'cumulative' way. Show only unread. Post type to show. Saving filter.
* A new invitation will appear on the top, which will bring us to a new page to accept of reject.
There is one bug, just happen today, the " my multiply" away too wide if I see it with Internet Explore, but ok with Firefox (seems only happen to some people).
I agree with kindspirit to have option to put list our custom-filters in 'my multiply'. I usually prioritize my close contact, then group, then (if I have time) looking at a distant (excluding my close contact).

Hi, I tried to import my blog from my blogger account and everytime i import, it imports all my blog entries (making them duplicate). Yes, I have multiple blogs with the same user name. I carefully select only the blogs which I want to import (unchecking others). Still it imports all the blogs. Please help.

We loved the old Multiply because we wanted something intimate, something unlike MySpace and Friendster. But now you're all the same. Yes, please bring back the OLD multiply with the ff features:
1. easier photo rearrangement (not like the current one where it has to be done one by one; very tedious and time-consuming!) 2. contacts at the sidebar (not on the webpage) 3. explore (much easier!)

Hidayatullah.com--Seperti biasa, selepas shalat Isya berjamaah kami berkumpul di teras masjid. Kami bicara hal-hal yang bermanfaat, kadang berkaitan dengan memakmurkan masjid. Tidak jarang di antara kami saling menceritakan isi buku yang baru dibacanya, dan biasanya kami sangat suka mendengarkan kisah Rasulullah SAW, para sahabat dan para ulama terdahulu.
Setelah mendengar kisah-kisah itu, kami serasa seperti baterei yang dicharge. Semangat kami untuk melaksanakan amalan-amalan shalih seperti dipompa lagi.
Malam itu giliran salah satu saudara kami, Pak Parno, yang bercerita tentang Ibrahim bin Adham. Kisah ini, katanya, sangat terkenal, banyak dimuat di media massa dan sudah banyak yang mendengarnya. Saya sendiri, baru mendengar malam itu dari beliau yang sehari-harinya memang kutu buku.
Ringkas cerita, Ibrahim bin Adham mendengar dari malaikat bahwa ibadahnya tidak diterima Allah SWT selama 40 hari. Sebab, sebelumnya ketika membeli kurma dia mengambil sebiji kurma yang terjatuh dan bukan termasuk ke dalam bagian kurma yang ia beli, tanpa seijin penjualnya. Sesuatu yang saat ini sudah biasa bagi kita, tapi menjadi suatu petaka bagi seorang shalih macam Ibrahim bin Adham.
Ketika kami sekeluarga dalam perjalanan menengok orangtua, iseng-iseng saya membuka laci mobil dan di situ terlihat sebungkus jagung goreng, atau orang Jawa biasa menyebutnya marning. Tanpa banyak cakap, marning itu langsung saya santap. Pikir saya, wong mobil saya yang punya, berarti marning yang ada di dalam mobil ini tidak masalah kalau saya makan.
Ketika marning itu tinggal beberapa biji, tiba-tiba saya teringat cerita Pak Parno dengan Ibrahim bin Adham-nya. Astaghfirullah, sontak saya setengah berteriak hingga mengagetkan seluruh isi mobil. Mengabaikan muka-muka bingung dari penumpang mobil, saya buru-buru mengambil telepon seluler dan segera menelpon ke Surabaya, menghubungi para penumpang antar jemput karyawan yang setiap harinya saya layani dengan mobil ini. Saya asumsikan marning tersebut milik salah seorang penumpang antar jemput yang kelupaan sehingga tertinggal di mobil.
Ternyata tidak ada seorang pun yang mengaku menjadi empunya makanan kecil yang renyah itu. Hati saya berdetak kian kencang, takut kalau-kalau sebentar lagi Allah mengutus Izrail mengambil kembali ruh saya, dalam keadaan saya belum sempat mendapat keihklasan dari yang punya marning tadi, astaghfirullah. Pas putus asa sudah terasa di depan mata, saya menelepon ke rumah dengan sedikit harapan barangkali ada informasi lain yang berguna. Ketika itu sopir saya yang mengangkat telepon, dan dengan semangat yang hampir luruh saya menanyakan perihal marning tadi. Apa yang saya dengar?
Sopir saya dengan suara gemetaran menahan takut mengaku bahwa dialah yang meninggalkan marning di mobil, dua hari sebelumnya karena terlupa.
"Mohon maaf Pak, saya lupa belum membersihkan mobil," ungkapnya terbata-bata. Subhanallah, Allah masih memberi saya kesempatan.
"Tak masalah, aku minta maaf dan minta kamu ikhlas marningmu aku makan. Karena kalau kamu tidak ikhlas, apa jadinya kalau aku keburu mati ketika makan barang haram, " jawab saya sambil menahan tangis. Adegan selanjutnya adalah saya sibuk menjawab celotehan kedua permata hati dan istri saya, tentang apa yang barusan terjadi. Alhamdulillah, saya bisa berdakwah kepada keluarga saya dengan hanya menceritakan pengalaman pribadi tadi.
Tak terasa rumah orangtuaku makin dekat. Ya Allah, berikan aku hidup istiqomah di jalan-Mu dan akhir yang khusnul khotimah. Ya Allah, masukkan aku ke surga-Mu dan pertemukan aku dengan Rasulullah dan Ibrahim bin Adham. Amin.

Help needed!!!!! How to delete the following item in my playlist?
Hi! i'm not from the multiply service, but i've asked them the same question and they said that they currently do not have the option to delete songs in a playlist.. you may delete a whole playlist but the songs therein still remain.. they're not deleted from the system.. in response, i told them that it would benefit us both if they would allow that option in the future because it will lessen the clutter in our list of songs as well as reduce wasted space on multiply servers.. i hope they will give favorable attention to this matter very soon..
I can't find the option to change my welcome post either :(
Just hover your cursor on the welcome message header ("Welcome" by default) and these options -> [ edit | hide ] will appear.. click 'edit' then change your welcome message..
Help! some folder in my message board don't update.
I have a photo folder named "Mindoro Seascapes." Even when I receive new replies or post my own replies, the alert in my message board does not update. the latest reply is still at 55 days ago from a certain user serzhant0. I have deleted the only reply I got from him and even blocked him (which I don't like doing). I thought this is going to correct the problem but no. Because of this, even if i put something new in this folder, my contacts are not informed.
please help. try it and see what i mean. I don't want to move the pictures and start another folder so I can preserve the comments.

The Multiply is, for the most part of us that are members, the best blog's host service of the internet. But, the more content we publish here and more our page attracts interest of surfers in the net, more lack we feel of a resource that is fundamental in any blog page: the possibility of visitors to leave comments.
