One of the coolest new features unveiled with the recent release of
Multiply 3.0 is our new Ajax-based photo uploader. Those who appreciate
the drag-and-drop goodness of our Java-based uploader will be pleased
to know that it's still available... but if you haven't already, you'll
at least want to give this new option a try.
As you select photos one at a time in the Ajax
uploader, uploads will begin immediately and will continue in the
background as you choose more photos, set titles and captions for those
that have already been uploaded... or even set tags, access control and
other options for the album.
We made one
particularly cool change earlier this week. Now, once you start editing
caption and title text for an album, you won't even need to touch your
mouse again until you're done. Just click a photo title to get started,
and use your "Tab" key to save your text and switch to the next photo.
So if you tried this before the change, we invite
you to try it again. We think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
I was thinking that exactly this subject of editting caption was too much better before multiply 3.0 and now you improve it. ooolaaalaaaahhhhh. Congratulations. smart guys. =D
Sairam!
ps. could you please offer us one more custumizeble box please?? to post a specific article collection?
I'll have to check this out. I've always had difficulties uploading photos to Multiply. Granted, it always works, but when I select my photos and upload them, it ends up giving me an error at the very end. It ends up saving the photos as a draft, but I can never seem to upload an album without encountering this particular error.
After spending an hour uploading photos and writing descriptions for the new album, I selected "save draft" and it all disappeared. So, I guess I just wasted an hour. *sigh*
Works fine, except for one bug. When you select maximum number of photos to upload, the last photo will not be uploaded fully, which will then have to be reloaded. Not a big hassle, but something that have to be kept in mind when you do so.

I got no use for friendster whatsoever. I'm still wondering what that (and myspace is the worse) is for. Multiply hit the right spot. I wish my friends would switch and use this instead.
Cool changes! But I still think the old way to rearrange photos on album was better. If I have to put Photo Number 1 as Photo Number 300 now it TOO DIFFICULT! Could you let the old way available too?

Yes I like the new uploader, but I have a request. PLEASE make photo uploading, editing etc the same inside groups as in personal sites. The same applies to visiting statistics - all much better in personal sites.
Hail Multiply for taking action (my friend Jed reported a couple of times to multiply) to those who are posting malicious photos and videos, pornography that can harm the youth! Thank You for the fast operation!
