Blog EntryNew features: Viewing history mini-profilesDec 15, '06 6:34 PM
for everyone
For those who love the mini-profile pop-ups that appear when you move your mouse over someone's headshot, we're giving you yet another reason to love 'em - or just try them out, if you hadn't already.

Now, when you move your mouse over the headshots that appear in the viewing history on any page where you see one, you'll see the same mini-profile popup that you've already been seeing elsewhere on Multiply. This means that you can not only keep an eye on who's viewing your posts, but also get a quick feel for the person behind the username -- without having to actually view their page. You can even quickly and easily send them a Personal Message, add them as a contact or even block them.

And by the way, if you so desire, you can completely disable the mini-profiles by clicking here or clicking "Preferences" on your message board. Just so you know.

question: why did you remove the View Profile in the pop-up? Because that helps a lot... THANKS! ;-)

In the next update/upgrade, it would also be nice if we were able to see if they were online too. Take the word "live" to a new level.

yes...i agree to that. i know that the word "online" is shown on the homepage of the person...but it would also be nice if a person know one of his contacts is online even without going to the main homepage of the contact.

This feature is indeed convenient. However after you block someone, you will end up on that person's page! - as if you intended to view the person's page. 8-[

I hate this feature. Everytime I'm scrolling a page, I can barely see the posts for these darn profile pop-ups.
