maintenance on Multiply, which means that you may catch the site at a
moment when part or parts of it may be unavailable. Well, another one
of those times is coming soon.
This time, the site
will be down for relatively short periods over the course of the next
week or so, while we perform some mostly-routine hardware upgrades.
We'll try to get this done at non-peak parts of the day, when fewer
people are likely to be using Multiply, but since there's always
someone on Multiply, someone will be interrupted by this. We hereby
apologize in advance to someone. :-)
In short, we
just wanted to let everyone know about this ahead of time, so that it
doesn't come as a suprise when the time comes. But after the work is
finished, site performance should be noticeably snappier -- so there's
certainly something for everyone to look forward to!

Just a suggestion...why not add a Suggestion-Box, to the upper menu...at the top of the page.
Two of them come to mind at the moment...
1. Make it possible to delete a selection of posts in one sequence, rather than having to do them one "by good-golly one" at a time.
2. There must be an easier way to let "NEW" users/contacts view an already private site's content than having to go through each and every post one at a time, and adding their names to a LIST...this is a royal pain in the you know what. Maybe, like the first suggestion, put a check mark script by each contact's user name, and let the author decide what content they can see.

This is wonderful. Would this maintenance have an effect that chatting would eventually be faster? As it happens from time to time that our contacts are at the same time writing to us. Suggestion: what about a telephony system added..just dreaming.
It always comes as "suddenly", but anyhow, we always enjoy thare IS MULTIPLY, thank you so much for this mail, we can communicate with friends and family all over the world, thank you so much dear Multiply, who is 107 years old.....

I have a suggestion. Actually, it's more of a mix between a request and a question. Would you guys please put up an easier way to post multiple pictures onto a blog entry? I seriously don't want to have to go through every single photo that I want to blog with one by one, and it's honestly the only thing that is still keeping me blogging at other places (such as blogger).
I know that was off-topic with the post, and I'm sorry; I totally love Multiply, it's the best out there :) Thank you so much to the staff for all the hard work you guys put into the site; it's literally a dream come true for media junkies like myself. Heheh. <3

I take it ur still doing work as i cant upload anything to my site at the moment and havent been able to since yesterday, just hangs and says contacting multiply and stays like it for over an hour 2day.
Hope u get it sorted soon as i am starting to get withdrawl symptons.
I believe there is an issue with the "new" EDIT (found on one's front page, when a person selects "Customize Site", feature included in the last maintenance...and there seems to be an on-going fault with naming of playlists...as we are getting a lot of "New Music 000 (10 songs)" entries...instead of the real titles.
... hi. what's happening.?.. can't open my site at all & some of my friends experience the same.... but how come i've come accross someone else's perfectly working... we live in the same area.. is there any explanation to this??.... seems to be a never ending disturbance ... just hope we can really enjoy multiply without much fuss...

Speaking of maintenance, will it be possible for the advertisements shown in the multiply accounts to be scanned because some ads are not good to be seen in my homepage, especially when I'm showing it to someone else, those ad really irritates me.. so much!
What Ad that was? The girls who are half naked and might link to a porn site... this is the second time I report this and I'm hoping you'll do something about it, that kind of ad is not good to be seen in the multiply, it don't belong to a site as good as this one!
