When we announced the new
(spiffy) album editor, we knew we were onto something big.
But we also knew we weren't quite finished
yet.
Behold a new, easy way to re-arrange photos
within an album:
After uploading new photos, or while editing
an existing album, simply
click the brand-spanking new Re-order Photos link and you can
automatically re-order your photos in a few different ways. (Of course,
you can still drag-and-drop to arrange your photos in any order you
like.)
Selecting...
"by
Subject" will alphabetize them by title
"Order
Uploaded" will reset the original order in which you selected
them
"Date Taken" will do... simply that!
(Note that if you used the Java uploader and chose "Format for web," or
your photos don't contain Exif data for some other reason, this option
won't be available.)
spiffy?! i prefer the AJAX uploader. Too bad that was removed. why couldn't that be left as an option like the others instead of being removed?
someone bring the AJAX uploader back! That was faster than this. Waiting for the progress bar to finish before we get to edit the content is such a waste of time. And having to click on the image first before you are able to edit it is especially taking too many precious seconds. With the AJAX uploader, you didn't have to click on the image to edit it but all you needed to do was highlight it and then you can choose what options you want instead of having to click it first, edit, then save.
