this is what the left half of the message board settings look likeWhether you practically live your life on your Multiply Message Board, or at the very least use it from time to time, you know how much easier it makes keeping up to date with the latest posts from a large (or small) number of people, all depending on how you choose to filter it.

Well, if you spend any sort of a good deal of time on the page, you'll appreciate the new preferences we recently added.

In addition to the old essentials, like choosing the number of items that appear per page, the way they're sorted and what view style you prefer, you can now choose which of the sidebar boxes you'd like to see.

You can now hide:
  • Post New Content
  • Upcoming Events
  • Popular Tags
And of course, showing them once again is just as easy as unchecking the appropriate box.

Which boxes (if any) can you do without, and end up hiding on your message board?

This is great. :)

I was wondering - will you be adding any new relationship categories soon? Cat's like Mentor, Teacher, Schoolmate, and something for people in the same organization (like clubs) that aren't exactly businesses.

Love this! Would also like to see a way to arrange items in the message board boxes to move them around... (what each of us consider more important, therefore easier to see at a glance - for instance staff blog under message summary :)

Is there anyway I can delete Personal Message? I received a few Personal Messages and it will not disappear from the main menu until I reply it. Thanks

I've been having issues with my message board...I can't see any updates unless they're like 22+ days old...Why is this??? I haven't messed with the filters or anything...HELP!!!

hi: there is something that i would like to run by you. I have a "personal message (in red ,..upper right corner). this message ,.. I don't want to answer,.. or for that matter open the site up to mark her/him ABUSVE!!!!(for fear of picking up some sort of virus(that she/hehave set up for me if i do open her/his site).. My ? is ,.. can you set up something to just cancel out that persons message,.. without my having to go into her/his site to"mark her/him ABUSIVE"??????
