We've known for a while now that Multiply is certainly hot stuff, but
it's always nice to receive the same sort of recognition from outside
parties who may be, perhaps, a little less biased than we
are.
And wouldn't you know, we just received
another -- though quite considerable -- pat on the back. Multiply has
been selected by AlwaysOn as one of
their "OnHollywood 100 Top
Private Companies"! According to
AlwaysOn:
The OnHollywood 100 is a
power list of the top private emerging technology companies in digital
entertainment and media. Multiply was handpicked by the AlwaysOn
editorial team based on a set of five criteria--innovation, market
potential, customer adoption, media buzz and investor value
creation.
Wow, color us
flattered! The list of
other nominees seems to place us within pretty good
company.
Some other sites have actual links to them from that list - why not Multiply? You guys should ask them to link to you, too. I wouldn't be upset if the remarkably few actors I know, other than myself, Maisha and our daughter, were on here. ;)
Nice!!!!! Wow!!! Thank you, all Multiply Staff for your work, for being so close to us, when we ask for help (that's my case LOL), and for letting us reach to those who are our friends and family and cannot be geografically so close, share our stuff and yet, sharing in such a private way, as private as family and friends are, in real life! Congratulations from Portugal!!!! :o))))
(J.Ruy)
Congratulations! I have one suggestion/request. can you guys put last log-in dates/ times on the miniprofile so we can know if someone has been online or is online when we see their comments? or maybe an ONLINE NOW badge or a LAST LOGGED IN ON ____?
If the problems continue with your proxy servers pulling incorrect images, dropping comments, dropping images, cross linking posts, etc... Multiply may get elected to drop off lists such as this. (and yes service is aware of the problems, they just haven't acknowledged it to the general public)
Don't get me wrong, Multiply is definitely using the correct technology and when there actually is an effort, it is appreciated... I just wonder if the $6 million that Multiply received last year went to competent coders or if it just ended up in a CEO's pocket book. (not to mention the amount that google gives Multiply per hit)
