Blog EntryEasy image embedding... elsewhere!Apr 30, '07 5:44 PM
for everyone
With some of our more recent features, like custom Multiply badges and Amazon Wish-List integration (and even some older ones, like content import tools and cross-posting and getting your message board via RSS!) it may seem like we're helping Multiply 'play nice' with other web services.

Images can be embedded in posts or comments
on Multiply... or elsewhere on the Web!

And there's a good reason for that. (It's because we are.)

So, not too long ago, we took another step toward working better with others and made it dead easy to embed photos posted on Multiply into other websites. You can accomplish this by visiting a photo's individual page within an album and clicking the familiar "share" link that you'll find below it. Simply grab the "Embed" HTML code under "Share Options" and paste it wherever you like!

You'll find this link on the share page for any image within an album that has been posted publicly, whether by you or another user. The embed link is available for your own protected albums as well, in case you'd like to share your own images more widely. How you share your own content is your own choice, but naturally, it isn't available on others' protected albums. You should know better than to even try! :-)

And, still, no comments on the search function changes?

Or you either don't read what your users have to say, or you don't give a **** about it.

Yet... It looks that many users (including me) do not like the changes in the "search" feature... Any comment from the Multiply staff?

For two days now I've been unable to embed photos or videos into my Multiply blog. It just remains HTML code. Is there a general reason for this?

Test, they only problem with this is all the older posts we made with pictures on multiply are probably broken now. I used to have two group pictures that were on posted on my main page and I wondered why the code suddenly stopped working....

great job Multiply. but i do have a question about Multiply's watermark on some of my photos. recently i developed a habit of copying my photos and paste it on blog post. but on the next day, i found a Multiply's watermark on the lower right corner of some of the pics. it really distracts the focal point of my photos. could you please fix it.

i was able to finally add pictures to my song playlists but it seems that the images i added were all justified to the left, probably by default. how can i put it dead center of the page? please send me a private message if you have any idea. thanks!

how come there's no "embed" option anymore after posting a video?
