A recently released feature that probably hasn't received the recognition it deserves is the aptly-titled Allow viewers to download original video file option.
This is not for want of trying, as we did announce it... but admittedly also sort of buried it at the bottom of an entry announcing a much bigger, more exciting, ultimately overshadowing feature. And to think, we announced it without even so much as a screenshot!
So, in case you're curious — or have never seen it — here's what it looks like:
The option appears just after posting a new video, or when editing an existing one. Keep it checked to allow download, or uncheck it to disable it – it's that simple. Either way, you (the poster) will still be able to download the original file, when available.
This is enabled via the Advanced Posting option... so if you already have enabled it in the past, you're ready to start using it. (Wondering what other features are enabled by Advanced Posting? Have a look at this blog's brand-new Advanced Posting tag!)
I'm just sad that this type of feature is being developed while other useful features would come much more handy, like tools for managing the audio files we have stored on Multiply. I just wanted to delete or rename the files I already have there... Is it too much? =/
What would be really cool is allowing people to download files that were taken from other sites, like youtube. It might annoy them, I suppose, but I won't tell them if you don't. ;)
good idea... in some way protecting the user who posted the original video... bad news for someone who wants to download that video :( ....... it would also be cool if we would be able to download from youtube! :) ... hehe
Ok, I know it's not the right place to put a question.. How can I see a link to my groups from my multiply message board? Everytime when I want to go to my group I have to go first on my site or to open a new tab and search in favorites center. Thank you in advance for the answer.

My vides I upload just aren't working. The file is not availbe for download (File not found), and the flash loader for the video does not attempt to load. For some reason I can still get the screen shot of the video to show up, though. I've already sent a message to support, but I was wondering if any of you have had a similar problem.
Please open again my page .. I have lost everything ... My contacts and my files ... I have no backup anything ... I do not do this .. Please ... If something bothers them, I warn my site and immediately delete ... But do not destroy all the work I did on that page ... You know that I never did anything nor problems ... Please ... If someone claimed that something tell me? .. Is it? ... But please re-opened my site ...
