By now, you're most likely aware of how easy it is to add new Faceboxes to photos... just click a face to get started. However, as one user pointed out in a comment on our last entry, isn't this the way to view high-resolution versions of photos on Multiply?
There's your resolution... and your full-size link.
Well, in case you haven't noticed, there's always been a second way... which is now the way.
While viewing an individual photo's page within an album, have a look right below the resized version of an image. You'll find, right below the image, the image title—which may just be the original filename (as is the case in the screenshot to the right) if you didn't enter a title—as well as the resolution of the original, full-size version of the file.
Simply click the resolution below and you'll then be viewing the full-size version of the image. Click the image to add a new Facebox.

That's all there is to it.
HI THERE SIR, THANKS VERY MUCH FOR YOUR HELPFUL TIP. I COULD NOW VIEW MY IMAGES ON AN ENLARGED SCALE HAS MULTIPLY JUST SWITCHED TO THIS NEW SYSTEM AS I USUALLY GET A HI-RES IMAGE BEFORE BY JUST CLICKING ONTO THE ACTUAL THUMBNAIL SIZED IMAGE ?
Well, I still think the most used function should be priorized. When viewing an album with, say, 60 photos, we will probably want to see perhaps all of them in high-res, while this new "facebox" function will be used MUCH less, in one or two photos. Based on this I would suggest you keep the photo clicking to expand it to high-res and create a new link "Add a facebox" that will be used only when necessary.
This is so confusing. You guys better add more info/text like "click here to view the original size/larger size of the image". Or at least "under line" the link.
ppl always click at the photos. I don't understand why you modified this function. It makes ppl get confuse and i don't see any advantages of it.
This is so true and multiply.com will loose many users doing it. I bet they'll find other sites to replace multiply right now. Site that allows you to see the original size just by clicking the thumbnails. Let's make it simple for everybody. Is this your way of saving the bandwidth by hiding the original resolutions? God knows.

Does this mean that we get a separate option of deciding to let viewers order prints of photos and downloading high-res files? Because I'd like my network to view the high res files but not order prints.

my ultimate request with multiply is to be able to download 2 or more pictures with just 1 download/click. like maybe select certain pics for 1 download session. sometimes there are just too many (hi-res) pictures you want to get from a friend's album and it gets tiring to click and wait on each and every pic you want to download (esp true for users who do not have speedy connections) it would be totally awesome to have that feature :D
hi, i was looking at pictures in my old albums, and noticed that the hi-res images can no longer be viewed. i can see thumbnail in the index page, but when i click on a thumbnail, white appears in place of the picture. have those been deleted?
hey there... all of my photos are in the 2mp-3mp resolutions but why does it resize to 1000x750? photos of other multiply users don't. please help me. that's why i'm using a large resolution so that when i back-up those photos in multiply it would still be there but then it's resized. please help.
