Although you're always free to manually download the photos you've already shared on Multiply, there's a much easier way to get a copy of the lot of them, whether for yourself... or someone else.
A few months ago, we announced that Multiply had partnered with QOOP for our brand-new photo printing services. In addition to the custom postcards, calendars, mugs and more that they create, which you may already know about, did you know that QOOP also makes it easy to order a backup copy of your photo albums?
To get started, simply start with one of your photo albums – any one will do. Click the prints & gifts link you'll find below the album. You'll then be taken to QOOP's site; once there, you'll find Photo Disks among the list of items. Select this and the rest is simple -- you'll be able to choose to add all of your photos to the disk, choose certain albums, or even pick photos shared between certain dates!
This sort of thing is great if you ever need an easy copy of all the photos you've posted to Multiply. And let's not forget that these make great gifts for those less Internet savvy... but still near and dear to your heart!

EXCELLENT - WHOO HOO...........
This is one of the best Options added to MULTIPLY - Since i have been on MP.. BackUps - On Multiply now - Rule Kneels down & pays Homage to Multiply for this...
thank you brothers! But can´t you improve multiply calendar? I don´t want to go to qoop´s site to use their calendar. Congrats for the new partner! (nice one, but only for back ups, right?) cuz I don´t feel like going out of multiply for nothing!!!! Sairam
Sai you know better to start a new item within another post..
We,de love to see what you are asking for in a new thread sai.....
also there are a number of threads regarding calenders & what is wrong or what could be done to improve it.. ----------- this thread is soley for QOOP & backups & NOT Calenders....
I Did have to do it Twice for the hi res items though.
what do you mean that you had to do it twice? do what?
btw, i've made a photo book with QOOP and though the photo quality was so-so (because it was printed onto the paper instead emulsion processed (or whatever it's called when pictures are developed rather than printed) the book itself rocked. and my mom was near tears with happiness to get a copy. :-)
i like the ability to do more than just print pics. i'm looking forward to using it even more around christmas time.
here's some corporate giveaway items u might want for the xmas season (am i too early for this? he he he) or u just wanna have them..please check em out..(for philippines location only) thanks!!
This is great, but equally handy would be the option to backup (or share) photos from a memory card/hard drive/individual folder to Multiply or QOOP. Some other sites (e.g. Flickr, Ringo) offer an uploader which makes it possible to upload all of the photos in a folder or by drag and drop etc. That seems to be missing here (so far). That way it would be much easier to create an easy copy of the photos we want to back up from our own PC to QOOP via Multiply.
PS. An import filter for Ringo would be a nice addition, especially in view of the fact that the Yahoo! Photos import will be obsolete soon.
I Did have to do it Twice for the hi res items though.
It would also be handy if the hi res photos were sligfhtly easier to access, i.e. for saving via right-click, which doesn't save the photo but an empty html page if you right click and "save target as" on the dimensions of the hi res versions shown below the defaul view. Ringo is better in this respect, as the screen view of any image automatically links to the original jpg, whatever size it was.
. It would also be interesting a feature that would enable us to save ALL the photos from one given album to our HD, without having to save them manually, one-by-one...
If the intention is SHARING, I guess this would be very well received by all Multiply members. .

not a big fan of QOOP, it keeps failing when I try and order photos and the postage is 10 times the price of what I used to use on multiply. Is there any chance I can use the old system for printing?? I was v.happy with the old system... How do I find it?? Thanks for your help.. love the multiply site.
