If you receive our What You've Missed e-mail alerts, you certainly understand the value they provide: if you tend to go more than a day or so between visits to Multiply, these are the best way to effortlessly keep up to date with new replies to your posts, new posts by the people you know, and so on. Think of these as, well, exactly what they are – a custom update letting you know exactly what's been going on in your Multiply network since you've been gone!
While the alerts themselves aren't changing, their subject lines are, making it easier to, at a glance, know what you've missed. We, clearly, can't cram the entire message into the subject line, but we're doing the next best thing – having the subject line reflect the most important news contained within. If someone replied to something you've posted, the subject will reflect this. If not, we'll go for the next-most-relevant bit of news.
(Actual subject lines are subject to change and will, naturally, mention people you actually know. :-)
As always, we'll let you know when these changes go into effect, but just in case you happen to miss it, we wanted to give you plenty of notice of the change, so as not to leave you wondering what these unfamiliar e-mails are.
And if you don't currently subscribe to What You've Missed alerts, this is a great opportunity to give them a try! You can change your WYM preference by clicking the handy settings link at the top of any page, followed by My E-mail Alerts. Then, simply look for the Send me posts I've missed drop-down menu and pick your preferred delivery frequency.
Still would like to know how to delete unwanted contacts. Please.
click on "my network." mouse over the contact that you'd like to remove. select the "remove as contact" option. that person is no longer in your network.
the user support group is a great place to ask questions like this. in fact, this question has probably already been asked there. and the group has a handy search box in the welcome message that can help you find the answers to questions that have already been addressed.
Actually, they may still be in your network, through other mutual contacts you may have. If that's a concern to you, you may want to take the extra step of blocking them.
I hope, in that "so on", I could get update from post(s) that I had left comment as well .. really want to follow a 'talk' from certain post - in an easy way.

When you leave a comment on a post you want to "follow" just click on the Reply link and select the option to "forward replies" to your e-mail address.
Thankyou for all the info you give out. As I am a regular user of Multiply I do not miss much but it is still nice to know that if I did miss something then you would point it out. I have found the tips to be most useful. In one word, Gggggggggggggggggggggreat !!!

thanks for the tips :) didn't notice that before .. usually I simply use the reply-box on the very bottom.
I like the email alerts but what I don't like is for one alert you receive ALL the comments/Guestbook ever made on a person's post. How or Why can you only receive in an alert just one or two of their comments??? I don't want to turn them off but it is getting so when I open up my email it is starting to slow down on individual person's post/comments because they are growing daily. eg. Size comments for Guestbooks: 382kb, 387kb, 580kb....and so on and add to this animated tags...Is there a way to fix this?? Thanks.
