We have another bit of good news (previously, content imports) for Multiply users who've used Yahoo 360° in the past.
Today, we've made it possible (and easy, of course!) to import your contacts list from Yahoo 360°, and send them invitations to Multiply! Long-timer users of Multiply will be familiar with the process, but for those who aren't, it goes a little like this:
Click the Invite link at the top of any page, followed by Yahoo 360°. Then sign in to Yahoo using the form on the following page. The next page will list your contacts; select a relationship for those you'd like to invite to Multiply. (And for the ones you don't, just keep the default "Don't Invite" setting.) Add a personal message, and your 360 contacts will be sent a message inviting them to join you on Multiply! Once they join, they'll automatically appear on your Multiply contacts list.
Also, the music I posted won't download for me to hear. And a video I tried to post won't post either. AAAHHHHH...at this point, Yahoo 360, even with it's faults, works better for me.
I tested it out, but I didn't invite anyone as most of my contacts are already here!
I find this especially wonderful news... I'm the moderator of Y!360 Refugees. There's over 600 members in the group, so it's great when I can pass stuff on to them.
Great work ZeBaron. i remember getting helpful tips from your 360 page. I liked the tips so much i thought there should have been a ZeBaron bobble head i could sit on my desk. (pattent pending...lol)
Also, the music I posted won't download for me to hear. And a video I tried to post won't post either. AAAHHHHH...at this point, Yahoo 360, even with it's faults, works better for me.
Please contact customer service if you are having trouble. They will get back to you as soon as possible. Also, be as specific as you can about the problem you are having to ensure a speedy resolution. Thanks!
This is just ultra fantastic. I like this so much better then 360 they really did us a favor by going belly up. Thanks so much. Everything is designed beautifully. I haven't tried all the features yet, but this is all just great.
Ah - so easy to transfer a copy of my blogs from Y360* to Multiply - but please is there a way I can re-arrange them in a descending order from latest post - October?

i just found this last night. and havent gone to sleep yet, its so fun. and like starting over. you can invite those you want over and take things step by step. i hope to make new friends on here.
You have made an assumption that everybody has an id ending in Yahhoo.com. Not my Yahoo ID is provided through my UK ISP and is different. I need the option to be able to put the full ID in.
i keep getting please reconfigure your multiply id and cancel your screensaver and update your settings yet whenever i try i get nowhere does anyone know how to do this, thank you

To meet people at Multiply, check out the groups already set up, and join the ones that interest you! All of the Multiply help groups are great, and you will find most information you need already there, with a lot of great people.
To see groups, just click on search above, and then check the groups out by interests, or actually use keywords to find some you are interested in. :)
You will meet people through your own contacts as well, at their site or other sites! In posts, and in replies. It won't take long! And it's not about quantity, but quality, and this is the best way to have the quality you are looking for. :)

yes, go to the blog that you wish to reset the date for. Click on the edit link that is at the lower left hand corner of the blog. There will be a bar that has the date and time displayed. Change the date and/or time of the blog by choosing whatever date you want from the drop down date menus. When you have entered the date of your choosing than click save and publish. Your blog will shuffle to the correct place in posting order and in your blog table of contents.
Ok, this is the ONLY place I can find anyone to answer me..lol..so here I am again.
Can anyone tell me why I cannot load a You Tube! video to the video box?? I realize this isnt 360, but loading a video there took seconds, one minute at most. Ive tired three times here..and the longest I waited before giving up was an HOUR!! ???? Anyone?
twas an awesome saturday nite with my family... singing and a lil dancing. can't help but to let ya, guys, know cuz u're a family to me... more power... catcha.
I'm so glad I read this! I was dreading having to move over the rest of my blogs because the dates wouldn't be right... but now I see how to change the dates :) I LOVE this site! Thanks!
Speedy, great teamwork, extremely nice << things about the Multiply team that I love I've been sat here shaking my head absolutely shocked at the way you do things here When you've been treated like a 'nothing' for such a long time being treated nicely IS a shock Thanks you guys we appreciate this I for one hope that Multiply does well out of this after all "you do get more with honey" I've even brought my 360 group over here! That's how much I'm loving the way you do things Keep it up and THANK YOU!
You deserve a medal. Thank you for making the transition so easy for us exyahoo 360 people. To transfer some of my blogs was a piece of cake, lol, but I can't put them in order. Any suggestions? Thank's anyway.
"Is this heaven?" "No. It's Boca Raton Florida!" Multiply, I hope you are around forever so we can play ball in your cornfield! I know you are a young site, but does it help to say we don't mind sticking around to change diapers if you continue to treat us so well? Ok, so I'll feed, you burp and you, over there! You change diapers!
great job Multiply now could you please work on something else for all of us use to be 360 folks ?
is there a way to import our blogroll here from 360 - thats all the links we have collected to our favorite web sites - some like me have a lot an there is no way i want to try an move them one by one.
we all appreciate you listening to our request an comments.
Nice... i got my blogs here n now contacts... rocks!!! whatz next? u gonna find a way to import comments??? if u guys do that then i bet everyone from 360 is gonna be here...
I had no problems with doing this. But i did accidentally send an invite to the fraud squad. lol. as i have them in email address book and forgot to not invite them. I wonder if they will show up.
hi all,im new here also, still trying to figure this word out ,i came from plain yahoo to yahoo360,now im here checking this one out,my friends say its cool,so if i run into a snag ill be back with questions,as for now im a learner on my own type guy, very nice meeting everyone.
I'm totally confused here ... I don't think Multiply is treating Y360 users (refugees) the way we're used to being treated. I mean, "OMG" ... Site Staff that cares ? That Helps ? WTF is that ? Excuse my culture shock here, but dang ! I've been actively on this site for a few days now and this is what I've noticed:
1) None of my stuph has been mysteriously eaten or FTP'd to the ozone for no apparent reason 2) Site staff answers questions in groups and forums with actual, real and actionable answers 3) This site seems to actually want to help the thousands of new Y360 users 4) Tools that work (and if glitches are found, they're actually fixed) -- Wow !
Forgive us (dare I speak for so many), if it takes us a little while to get used to this. We're like a bunch of beaten animals who jump everytime they hear a noise -- assuming, of course, that historically speaking, we're about to be beat down yet again ...
So, what's the catch ? When's the other shoe gonna drop ? When will you start randomly deleting our hard work, our personal lives and memories ?
Just kidding ... I'm loving it here and I promise to be a good citizen of my new-found home.
P.S. ROFLMAO @ RealNutty01 -- That's just too funny for words ! I actually did the same thing with Matt's home email account. It was a total mistake on my part and I felt really bad about it (for 2.35 seconds)
I had no problems with doing this. But i did accidentally send an invite to the fraud squad. lol. as i have them in email address book and forgot to not invite them. I wonder if they will show up.
If you sent an invite to someone accidentally, you can always revoke it, provided it is not already accepted. Go to My Network on the top navigation bar on any page of the site. At the bottom of this page you will find the list of Outstanding Invitations, with the Revoke link.
whoops the comments on the 360 blogs kinda get left behind but now you have a whole new bloging space for more comments, the thing is the blogs do make it an thats what counts
CAN OUR FRIENDS READ OUR PERSONAL MESSAGES? ON THE CUSTOM PAGE (FOR POSTS, BLOGS, VIDEO, ETC.) IT SHOW THAT YOU CAN CLICK FOR YOU, CONTACTS, CLOSE, ETC.

Yep, it's as easy as that.
Sorry to have taken so long to respond to your message,I have been busy finding my way around and catching up with friends from 360 who have, like me moved here. It is a great site,I only hope it does not go the same way as 360 and yahoo photos,at the rate we have to keep moving from one site to another is turning us in to a group of unsettled Nomads.(joking but semi-serious).Best wishes. Stan

Ok... I tried this, and I don't get a bar with options to change the date/time :( What am I missing?
Yay I figured it out! Yeah, blonde moment... you have to go into settings and make sure it's set to enable advanced posting! I'm sooo happy now! Thanks for being such a great site to move our blogs to :)
Dude, it won't import all of my 360 blogs. It only imported the most recent 28 blogs out of 51 blogs. I keep getting an error message. What's up with that?
What about security? I don't think it is very secure if everyone can get your email address? Why don't you fix it where your email address and real name doesn't show? I'm seriously thinking of deleting my blog because of this. I have my setting fixed to where my contacts can only see my profile but it makes me very leary to accept any new friend's other than the one's that I know my other friend's have had on yahoo. Yahoo has some good things on their blog's but they don't want to leave it that way. That's why I left but just might go back until their demise!
Why don't you fix it where your email address and real name doesn't show?
Are you talking about your profile page here?
I have my setting fixed to where my contacts can only see my profile
Then only your contacts can see your email address. Presumably those are the folks who already know your email address, and wouldn't abuse it, no? If not, why are they in your contacts list?
but it makes me very leary to accept any new friend's other than the one's that I know my other friend's have had on yahoo.
You should be leery of accepting people as contacts if you don't know them. Unlike other social networking sites, Multiply does not encourage building up huge lists of contacts, and our users aren't judged by the size of their contact lists.
Just make sure you know who they are before hitting the Accept button!
I AM WITH MA GURL JUICY I'M NEW HERE..AND I NEED TIME TO LEAR HERE FIRST...BUT ONCE I DO LEARN I WILL BE BACK IN ACTION...THANK EACH AND EVERYONE OF U FOR HAVING ME HERE AT..Multiply
I just don't get this quality thing and not quantity. If I have a friend who has 200 friends then there on my network and if they have hundreds and so on, Excuse me, what am I missing here. and I also don't like having my email available. The majority of my 360 friends never had an email address for me. (my ID didn't have an email address so they couldn't even guess it) Lets get real, there is no way that we know most ppl that well, I don't care what you suggest. I'm not ready to roll over and give you all this praise, you have to prove it to me first. I don't think I like multiply, but I'm trying to give it a chance.
Just checking out how everything works! Can't figure out if i like this place yet!but if it seems as though i'm here often then i have something to write about so stop in and say Hello!
So far so good. The ability to reply to a blog comment is something I needed on msn live space and 360... time will tell... but you are off to a great start
My bugaboo is...I do not wish my email to be showing at all. I want the option of hiding my whole profile. I have unchecked to add a link to my profile but yet when I view the page as a stranger/others it is there. You click on it and BINGO there is sitting in plain view my email address. Maybe you folk should remove all them asterisks as being compulsory/must do. It was hiding but now for some reason it isn't. Thank you.

I don't see a link to your profile on your page. Perhpas you were seeing a cached page which wasn't refreshed?
Try logging out of Multiply completely, and visit your site. See how it looks.
Hi.. I'm unable to find your link that allows us to import blogs from Yahoo 360! And please please please can someone come up with a way to import those lovely comments our friends left us on the Y360 blogs.. and testimonials too if possible. I like it here... gimme reason to really sing your praises - I shall dance to them too!
Hi, I am new here and any suggestions you have will be appreciated. If their are any Gay Christians that need to talk feel free to talk. I will do my best to give you the best guidance that God cgives me to give to you.
Thanks pkailasa...It doesn't work logging out and coming back...Darn thing is still there.
By "coming back" do you mean logging back into Multiply? If so, you will see your own information on your profile page, but others will not see it. If I visit your home page, I do not see the profile link. If I directly go to your profile page, all I see is your gender.
It is possible that your browser is showing a cached version of the page. You can try to clear out your browser cache/temporary files etc. and try again.

Yes I was, but most of my contact's didn't have access to my personal email. I have it set where my profile will not be seen except by my contact's but still I don't like anyone having my personal email address unless I give it out to those that I want to see it. I am very picky about who I accept as a friend but would like to meet a few more...But until this issue is taken care of I shall just stick with the friend's I have. I don't mean 50 or more friend's either as I limit myself to how many I will have so that I can visit each one of them daily to wish them a good day. I think that is the only complaint I have about Multiply. I do think that you should add the option not to allow HTML on our Guestbook because if you get too many tags left by your friend's, that are animated and you have a friend that has an older computer or on dial up it makes it difficult for a page to load. All in all I do enjoy being able to use Multiply for my blog.
ahah...Gonna clear out temps and cookies etc. to see if that will fix it. Me personally I don't feel the need anyone should see your profile. It's nobody's business. But then that is me. I'm with Judith on only allowing certain folk my email addy regardless of them being on my contact list. Thanks so much for the advice/help. Man us Y360 users/previous are not use to one on one contact with a live person never mind getting actual fixes for problems. Kudos.
I couldn't get all the blogs moved over as I did have more than 300 and I'm not going to invite all the people over from 360 anyways (I think most were gone or not even posting anyways). I am SOOOO happy that you folks from Multiply are working with us 360 Refugees, THANKS!! Happy Halloween everyone!
I just joined Multiply. I have imported all my blog from Yahoo 360 and somehow I ended up having double of every blog entry. I was wondering if you can tell me how to delete all my blog entries all at once so I can start fresh importing my blogs again?????
here it is, i am one of the admin of a multiply group, may we request to have a massive editing on the contents and post of the members particularly having a delete function, where we just have to check or uncheck the post to be deleted?
we are having this campaign to stop posting nonsense posts, in blogs and photos concerning just spams and ads?

I need help to get my 360 blogs over here. My ID is not yahoo.com what can i do i went in my account and made one yahoo.com but it does not work for importing? Thanks i hope you can help,i saw somebody else ask this about not having yahoo.com also?
I am concerned that both (1) the default settings and (2) the user interface for Multiply address book import and invite is ripe to create spammish behavior. With over 100 address book entries, Multiply defaults to checking them ALL. If I only want to invite 5 of them, I have to manually DE-select them, ONE AT A TIME. If I'm not paying attention or not scrolling, I'm setting things up to spam the listed address book entries.
I was not impressed, but I now understand why I've been getting three or more Multiply Invites a day for the last 2 weeks. This is evil and about what I'd expect from bunch of southern Florida entrepreneurs, looking for an exit strategy so they can quick cash in with some big daddy on the net before the world discovers their "next great thing" won't scale. ;-)
There should be an easy way to see this and correct the selection. Did I miss it?
Is there a way to search contacts without knowing their email or userid..i.e. people of certain age range. I see you can search by title topic, but when I did that search, I received a return of many young people. Although I consider myself diverse, I would like to connect to other people
