While the upcoming features we've recently shown you are definitely still coming soon (and of course, now even sooner than ever!), we have a couple more changes we'd like to show you.
The first is a change to the layout of the tabs that you'll find across the top of any page on Multiply. The current "My Multiply" message board page becomes Inbox, and the "My Network" page will be broken up into dedicated Contacts and Groups pages to make things a little clearer.
Secondly, we'll be introducing a new default theme for accounts on Multiply. New users will automatically get the new theme, though naturally, you don't have to be a new user to use it. Anyone can choose it, just like any other theme!
Finally, we thought it would be a good idea to announce these upcoming changes ahead of time, to let users who extensively customize their Multiply site know that these changes have the potential to affect their customizations. We've been testing various customized themes with the new version of the site to try and ensure that all of the changes go over as smoothly as possible, but there's always a possibility that something minor may slip through.
So if something looks a little odd with your customized site once the changes go live, don't panic! We'll be keeping an eye on the appropriate customization groups to catch any major issues that users report.
yes the arranging makes it much better. and i would like to know if you will soon have some thing like used in myspace where you can generate your own look that includes transparent box's and rearranging your looks.
Since you've been doing a lot of work on it already, how about some way to delete posted content? i.e. music etc. There's always a chance of a misclick that turns into a double post. Sometimes you'll want to post a better version too.

I would like it if they would make the searches more able 2 localize IE . Being able to search geographly and to be able to fine tune the searches instead of having to wade through 20 pages any ides???
COOL :) but what i'm anticipating is the improvement about paging. it's kind of annoying to scroll ALL the way down to see all the comments, albums, photos, etc. i hope to see that there will only be a certain number of comments, albums, photos, etc. per page :)
I'm fairly new to Multiply...a yahoo refugee... but so far have enjoyed my experience here!! I am really excited about all the changes that are to be implemented, and anxious for them. Just wanted you to know that. Merry Christmas to all...

Yes, I agree with thetrueasiatic, the music player is in need of a new look as well, you need to offer custom skins for it as well, maybe even customizable skins would be cool. How about a music sampler for each Music page, so one can listen to a 10 or 15 second clip of each offered song so we can see if it's something we want to download the entire song for.
And as long as we're talking about that, any way you can set it up so the homepage Music Player will not load until it is pressed or activated? Not everyone has a modern computer and/or a broadband internet connection, and some pages take too long to load up for those users. The total Flash Content of some people's pages is quite excessive, and can make even the fastest computer and connection pause for several minutes while 1.7 gigabytes of content loads up; Is there any way you can make it so the visitor can turn off the Guest-book and Music Player until they are ready for it? So we can surf faster?
ohhhhhhh geesh I change my background at least a couple times a week. I hope it isnt going to get all messed up. So far its all working fine . Please don't mess it up .
oh boy is right--i don't like this at all--the tabs at the top of the page are nice--but i do not like at all the idea of these changes affecting how my page looks--i put a lot of time and energy into it- deb

Under "View All Comments" of the Guestbook, they should not appear in one whole page. Wouldn't it be better if it's divided perhaps into 25 or 50 pages each? After all I'm interested in reading my latest comments. But I have to wait for all the hundreds of comments to load.... "sigh!!"

While on about the guestbook Marc ( I Am getting Zero Notifications of posts ) from my guestbook -- I,m also not able to pin it - or see my own posts on the messageboard ( USED To see & be able to pin items ) --- also still losing Pinned -Items a week after the last mainternace......... ( this aint a complaint ) - its but INFO -- Also not receiving posts from admins in or on whatever in P.m, ( pinned posts from admins ) refuse to work......... Issue or whatever is not my end... ( i understand things are being worked on as normal )
Note Messagebnoard is working - all is working but with restricsions to what is or does showup
I think "Inbox" is not a good title, because this page is not an inbox indeed.. This page is more similar to an electronic "bulletin board" or "event log". My Multiply was better than Inbox and it had potential to be a real MyMultiply page enabling us to add other RSS feeds to it. Anyway, new tabs looks good :)
I have learned people don't like change. I am one of them... but I like the changes that are going on here. I am just now learning some of this stuff on here, but am willing to learn more....I say go for it.......I just hope I remember all the changes.....would be nice if you could put all the changes in one blog after the changes are done so (I) personally won't forget how to do some of these...lol
I don't mind change but I'm just beginning to get my page to look and feel the way I want it too. Please tell me this won't effect the music that was recently added.
While I'm here, I'd like to know why most of the time it takes up to five days for me to receive a PM. I've reported this more than once, and the problem is still happening. The same thing holds true for the blogs that are posted. Unless I go to each and every contact's page every day to check and see if anything new has been added, I won't know until as I said, up to five days later.
I'm also unable to hide my calendar (this too has been reported). It's in the "hide" section, but the word calendar is still showing and until recently so were the items in it (since deleted).
I like what's coming, but don't want my music messed up and would really like for the above problems to be taken care of.

I agree. I have placed several different questinos and comments in and it took days to get replies back. Then they weren't very helpful for my situtation. I'm a refuge from 360 and just getting the ropes but still I am no twit to blogging and doing a page. So why take so long on response?
I like the ideas of the changes and some are kind of iffy to me.
I like the idea of bringing back this recipe tab that everyone is talking about, because that would be GREAT for me. I like the idea of the My Multiply page being seen as a tabbed page where if we wanted to edit material on My Page then you click the appropriate tab. Then in order to actually see My Page we would have to click the My Page tab. It would be nice to be able to have an easier way to separate the categories of things on the My Multiply front page itself; i.e.: Comments, Blogs, Photos, Links, Videos, Group messages. An easier sorting method would be nice in general.
I would like a feature to create recurring events in the calendar. I don’t like it how when I create something I have to then double it for the next year and so on. It would be nice to have recurring events so no confusion comes.
Having a messenger list of the friends who are online would be nice as well…maybe even a semi-better way of “e-mail/messaging” each other directly.
I would like it if the people searches would be narrowed down farther so it is easier to find the group/place I am looking for specifically.
More skins/backgrounds would be nice as well.
Maybe create a live chat section as well, so people who are online can chat real-time rather than using their pages back and forth to send messages.

I also like the idea of making it where it is the visitor’s option to turn it on or not, but only if the music player can be transferred into/placed onto ALL pages of the account so if they want to listen and browse then they can without loosing the sound after leaving the first page.
We need a much better split of notifications of blog updates, blog comment updates, and Personal Messages. It gets extremely confusing and so easy to lose important comments on someone else's blog if another person imports their 300 blogs from 360. This is the most frustrating thing for me to date.

The link above appears on my pages as an advertisement. I am located in Mexico. My friend in Puerto Rico says she is seeing the same thing. Could you please remove this advertisement, as it is offensive to me.
Now while I can hear the music on my page, the playlist is NO longer visible AND I continue to hear the music regardless of where I go in Multiply. Even I don't want to hear it ALL of the time.
I may be back if I discover something else that I don't particularly care for.
