One new thing that we forgot to announce (wow, our mistake!) along with the other new features was actually something pretty big.
Multiply has new themes!
Not only did we add a handful of user-created themes, made by wonderful users from the wonderful CustomizedThemes group, to our stable of official themes, but we even added a few of our own originals.
Here are a few of the new themes:
Japanese Minimalist
MOD
Bacchus
Bloody Romance
To apply one of these (or any other official theme), just click Customize My Site on your homepage, followed by Choose a Theme.
Have you already been using any of the new themes? Which among them is your favorite?
Those are really cool themes. I just wish you could recommend some themes that maximize the page (like skyline, basecamp, black lily, and oasis) 'cause there are people like me who prefer to fill up all the spaces, hehehe. Which is why themes I make tend to be based on those four themes.
Yes - I found them. Very nice, particularly the bacchus theme. Just wondering, with a design like that one, would it be possible to offer it in a few colours?
Keep up the good work. I think this is a great blog-site, very pleased I found it.
omg omg omg this is a blog site? why werent we told? say it isnt so. omg what will we all do now? grinz you guys and gals here at multiply are doin a great job keep up the great work and thank you all for being as wonderful and as terrific as you all have been, im impressed by your willingness to go the extra mile so to speak and give us picky and cranky assed people what we ask for on a daily basis. thank you all again for being the best at what you all do
Rememberin' when the days of, "Customizein' My Site" was changin' the background/text color via color chart values. When there was limits on band space. Multiply, as a community, deserves my humbly given kudos. Thank Y/you all. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays.
Whow! Real people talk to you on Multiply blog page? Now, I am impressed. Great job you guys! I never have to look far on here for answers. A nice place to call Home. I'm happy here !

I have not used any of the ones from multiply as I have my own favorite, and my background holds special meaning to me...but some of them are great...I like the site now that I have become accustomed to it.

This is great and I love Multiply but, what I would like to know is why did you all take away the custom theme? And are you going to bring it back? I liked using my own pictures on my background.

Custom Colors is the new customizable theme .... it now has transparency options and still lets you put up your own background. I LOVE IT!!
Great new themes! Although, it came to my mind how did you come you come up choosing those themes from customizedthemes group since there are lot of themes made by users which is I find more interesting.
I tried applying Japanese Minimalism in my multiply, and it's broken. Same as in Bloody Romance. Maybe, not compatible in my table view.
Please make this a regular thing! It's so great to have theme options! Also, it would be great to have more wide-screen theme options, that work on Macs! Keep up the good work, guys, seriously. If you were in the Bay Area, I'd so want to work with you!

I would like very much if someone would develop some country and western themes for the rugged cowboys and manly man type of person. I was helping one such man and couldn't find a theme that fit his rugged personality. Most of them are so frilly, flowerly and cartoonish - can someone take this by the horns and make something with horses, bulls, cowboys/cowgirls and the like with ropes, cows, etc. That would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.
Thanks for the upgrade... I do have a slight problem... I oftentime use Skyline theme or Black Lily theme, and they allow contents to be boxed up. However, recenting, I could not get the items into boxes. Could you advise what I should do.. I have tried a few times trying to reupload the theme, but it just does not work.
haha I know right? that was what really set multiply apart from others like facebook and myspace.... it was so unique sharing music, and now without the search function music is pretty much unseless. they might as well get rid of whole music uploading!
Please open again my page .. (http://cyranounico.multiply.com) I have lost everything ... My contacts and my files ... I have no backup anything ... I do not do this .. Please ... If something bothers them, I warn my site and immediately delete ... But do not destroy all the work I did on that page ... You know that I never did anything nor problems ... Please ... If someone claimed that something tell me? .. Is it? ... But please re-opened my site ...
These examples show that it was not doing the wrong things .. Please.
I chose a custom layout when I joined Multiply, but it suddenly went haywire a couple of days ago. No one else can see any problems apparently but various icons and boxes have lost customisation and several functions - paragraphs, posting photos, replies to comments, etc, don't now work. I have tried clicking on 'settings' and 'custom', but nothing happens. Sorry to ask this through this route, but it's really hard navigating at the moment. Have you perhaps just upgraded software or something which might have affected my site?
