We have an upcoming feature that group admins are sure to love, as it's quite likely to make their lives a lot easier.
Multiply lets users share many different kinds of content, and we know that it might sometimes be frustrating trying to get group members to use the different sections of your group — Blog, Note, Photo, Video, etc. — the way you want.
That's why, in the near future, we'll be giving group administrators the option of choosing which content types may be shared in their groups. For example, if you want to leave the Notes section open for general discussion, while keeping the Blog area clutter-free for administrators posting official notices, you'll be able to do just that.
Group administrators will be able to choose whether a given content type may be posted by anyone, only administrators, or no-one at all.
By the way, if you see a group without an active administrator,

i would also suggest if its possible for you to also leave the read pm messages on the recent updates because some of users also would like to reread their private messages.
