We really, really appreciate the helpful feedback you guys gave us a few weeks ago, letting us know what you thought of some of the ideas we'd been considering related to a new "premium" service for Multiply users. Such a service would offer users extra stuff, in addition to the existing features that all users currently enjoy.
Thanks to your input, we've determined that there is sufficient interest in premium extras on Multiply. We'll be unveiling our offering in the coming weeks, although we haven't quite settled on a name for the new service.
We already have some ideas of our own, but are interested in hearing what you might think such a service might be called.
Multiply Premium is good too. (I think I'm sticking with Multiply ____________
Right now, I don't care for _____________ Multiply unless something specific comes to mind. Besides, all of our url's (for our sites) start with multiply dot.
And for the life of me I can't determine the third option selected (how that would be used unless I went adjective nutz which I've been known to do when I lose my temper. lol)
But I agree that Multiply needs to be in the name. After all, in adverts or at log in with the premium service being an option, that needs to be there. Unless Premium Service is offered a different url (which wouldn't work with users that upgrade unless you MOVE us over to it) lol
I like Elite but to me that means... it's the best it's going to get, and there may be another upgradeable tier at a later date which would negate that (thinking aloud)
Would be nice if we could come up with something other sites haven't used yet (Have no clue what they are though other than hotmail has hotmail plus I think)
MAD - MULTIPLY ADDICTION DISORDER (Can't sign out or something will happen to piss us off and and we'll miss the chance to actually get mad about it before someone else does)
When Yahoo 360 failed and Yahoo shut it down I looked at their business model and thought that had the offered a premium service that would make money instead of giving it away for free and relying on the users to click ads ... maybe... that I would pay for it because it is an integral part of my life. I do not believe in "free free free" because nothing in this world is free. And why should it be? The problem is that people get accustomed to "free" and then they come to expect it as one of their rights, not realizing the huge efforts that go on behind the scenes.
There was a caveat to my willingness to pay of course: I would expect to be treated as a paying customer, and at the same time would expect that my communication to them would be read, AND RESPONDED TO personally. Yahoo does not seem to have the capacity to do this at this time. Perhaps they are too large to handle a personal business? I don't know, but I can say that for me, the impersonality of the internet is one of the largest minus points; I do not like anonymous shopping. Perhaps when Y! Blogging comes back they will have built a better business plan and it will include real follow up service with a product that is not forever-beta.
Anyway, whatever you choose to name the paid-Multiply, if you can provide the SERVICE that should go with any paid product, as well as the highest possible quality you can achieve.
i think it would help if we had a clue what the premium service provided. for example, if the main "extras" had to do with photos, it could be something like "Photoply" (which sounds really dorky, so i think i'm going to stop going down that line of thinking immediately.)
hmmm, have you ever heard the phrase "friends with benefits"? how about "multiply with benefits"? lol!
multiply plus high velocity multiply amped up multiply multiply on steroids multiply for pretty people multiply. seriously.
To tell you the truth, when things start to have a free version and then different paid versions..which i presume this god etc premium things are..i think that will start confusion and perhaps will even start the quality of maintenance on the free version not being as good as it is now. Depending on what people will be paying for, I worry that it will be like things offered on paid gaming sites etc..that those outside America will pay but not receive the same as others..all sorts of problems...Anyway..I just worry that with multiply going into these other kinds of multiplies..that the free version will have more problems, less service..be neglected and end up like yahoo 360..where yahoo had too many irons in the fire and couldn't keep up. Now most of us are coming here..and this is the first I have heard of any kind of other multiply service..and I can only say I have warning bells already..and plan to get my 'lifeboat' ready in case all goes to hell in a handbasket...we are still raw from our yahoo experience.
The quality of service won't change except maybe for the better as always, regardless of whether it's the free or the "premium" user. Because either way generates income for Multiply. The premium service is an offering of a feature that costs money for Multiply, thus they must pass the cost on to those that want to use it. That's all that is.
I just hope it's not something that will create a social caste on Multiply, like Multiply Plus or something. The name has to convey that it's an additional service, like Multiply Ala Carte, not a higher tier of service.
ANNOUNCEMENT TO ALL: For all we know, we love music. any trends, hyper or mellow, so that's why we are the ones who patronize this site. But the bad news is, the multiply system updates their strict policies when it comes to music. so that's why the system DELETES all DIRECT DOWNLOAD. As of my own observation, those music that previously uploaded remains the same & aside from the fact that it seems its SO VERY UNFAIR when MULTIPLY "DISABLES" it when if someone's visiting in other multiply site & attempting to download of that content. Well, either we personalized our privacy content but if u check those sites who are in the other way of posting in PUBLIC mode, no icons of "DOWNLOAD" appears! if you are concerned for this matter, spread this message to everyone!

i gave my songs (you can check my site and im the most pop tag here!!!) for free
Is this your original songs (means you arrange the music and write the lyric of the songs) or you just upload your music collection ?. If you do upload your own song that you make, it's not a problem, but if you just upload your music collection, that's not right.
So you guys at management try to find the "status" of the user that paying for membership ?, how about "Premium Member" for user who willing to pay for the Membership, and "Freeloader Member" for the cheap user who wont paying for the Membership like me ?. Anyway, don't you guys at management got paid by whoever that put the ads at Multiply ?.
Er ... why the leaning towards the male? If you are going to put an XY chromosome in, you shouldn't neglect XX. After all, there are more of us out here with XX chromosome. The ratio is 3 to 1, right? hehehe
It has to do with copyright infringement and intellectual property rights. I am not saying I agree with Multiply's disabling the downloads. Just that I understand why they did it. I just wish they had found a happy compromise. For one thing, not all the music we upload are songs that the labels go after. Also, there are some songs that artists ask us to share to help them gain popularity.
I started off with a free account. Then after a month or two I opted for the paid (Gold) account and got better service. And yet, I helped my sisters maintain their free accounts and I have noticed that the service has improved for everyone.
I just get a few extra perks but otherwise, it's all the same. If things only got better before, then we can expect things to improve in the future.

Oo nga naman, kabayan! 'di ka nag-iisa! This one's worse than the ad deal with ABS-CBN!
We need a compromise about this issue. If there's is no solution to this, we might better migrate our (music) files to better SN sites available in the 'Net.
Please Multiply and RIAA, moderate your greed! If you greatly care for us users, why aren't you given us a warning about this months ago?
maybe what what it need is instead of a word put or add a number like 200 Multiply or Multiply 2000 or jsut add a number or even smell like i dont knwo just a number or a name instead of a word
