We recently announced the addition of translation tools to Multiply (available by clicking Translate from the footer of any page) and we're very excited about the response. In just a few days we've made some great initial progress in Spanish, Portuguese, and Indonesian. Here's the recent status:
We're all very eager to announce the completion of Multiply into a new language. Around the office there is lots of speculation (and perhaps some wagering) as to which will be the next language after Japanese to be fully supported. (Estou apostando com Rogério)
While many of you have been working extremely hard translating, one way everyone can help - even those happy with our English site - is by spreading the word. We've got plenty of users in the countries we're translating for and if everyone translates one or two phrases we'll be done in no time. So we'd like to make a small request for everyone to post a quick note or journal entry letting your network know about the translation effort. Thanks!
Perhaps you'd like the site to be translated into a language other than English but not one of the ones currently available. Tell us here and also tell others that would be interested to let us know. We'll gladly add more languages to the mix if there is interest.
This is also a good time to remind those that are very actively translating phrases that it's a two-step process: translating and voting. Voting is very easy and if your hands are getting cramped up from typing translations, voting is a great way to take a break while also helping to make sure the most accurate translations get used.
Thanks again for all your help in making Multiply more enjoyable to a wider audience.
Bonjour J'aimerais savoir quand le français sera introduit parmi les langues à traduire. J'ai déjà fait la suggestion en cliquant sur le lien fourni précédemment.(- translate)

É... Acredito que quando o multiply estiver em portugues (Brasil) ele vai alcançar um nivel de popularidade maior que o orkut...
it's permulaan yang baik, buat multiply .... memang sih, ada google translate . . . . tapi thanks buat multiply staff, GBU, all ..... :-) Welcome to Indonesia 4 multiply staff & owners.
Try to Use Google Translate to speed up translation on MP because it has better than other translate to Indonesian

Terjemahan bebasnya... Mugo-mugo didungakno... Apik'e ojo Portugis ae, ning boso Indonesia, boso Londo, boso melayu tur boso lio sing iso dinggo neng Multiply...
actually, depending on the theme it might not be a gray bar. but it should start out with the copyright sign etc. then just keep looking through the links till you find translate.

Obrigado. Em português com certeza haverá uma invasão de brasileiros no Multiply. O Brasil, Portugal e todos os países que dominam a lingua portuguesa agradecem de coração.
I've tried to translate as many words as possible to Indonesia but still left some untouched :P So, I will spread the news about this, hopefully more people will help out :)

Me emociona que gracias a la ayuda de muchos usuarios la traducción esta muy encaminada! todos los que esperan con ansia que Multiply este en Español, no deben dudar en dar clic en http://multiply.com/translate , votar y sugerir traducciones a un gran número de frases, no sólo dar las "gracias", apoyen también.
I personally believe that those who do not know the English have more facilities to understand the essence of Multiply. I mastered many languages and for me the English language is my second language after Portuguese. I think of you to an excellent initiative to all who are part of this area. Thank you to Staff

I think its a good idea if the participants and the translator should get a reward with a premium member. The highest rank of the translator and voter (top 10 ie), get the reward. Just an idea :-)
I will already get my reward when I can invite people in my own language and they won't be able to say "I am not joining because Multiply is all in English". That will be the greatest reward.

Kita tuh butuh "orang pinter" dalam bahasa Inggris yang mampu menerangkan kepada Multiply, betapa tata bahasa kita beda dengan bahasa kampung halaman Multiply. Contoh sederhana: "your". Apa coba bahasa Indonesianya? Susah 'kan? Tapi kita tahu bahwa "your page" artinya "halaman Anda".

PORTUGUÊS SEJA DO BRASIL OU DE PORTUGAL, NÃO PERCEBO COMO ALGUNS O QUEREM DISTINGUIR AQUI, UMA VEZ QUE HÁ AGORA O ACORDO ORTOGRÁFICO ENTRE TODOS OS PAÍSES DE LINGUA PORTUGUESA. OBRIGADO.
Thank you, Michael I think it`s an appreciation for our loving Country Indonesia looking forward for the follow up. Appreciate to Global unity - Multiply. Terima kasih !
go go indonesia! lemme try to speed it up, dude! but, seriously, please don't translate the elements in the website display. i need to keep it the way i've chosen - in english.
Bom, para mim, o melhor é mesmo o Português! Conheço uma pessoa que não vem mais à MP porque não entende nada de Inglês! Well, for me, the best is really Portuguese! I know someone who gave up coming to MP coz she understands nothing of English! Obrigada pela oportunidade de expressar minha opinião! (Embora Inglês seja minha segunda língua ... por isso eu falo por outras pessoas, não por mim, exatamente!) -- I think you'll translate that ... I hope so ! :p :) Cleo ; ))

A lingua portuguesa, será o idioma mais falado a partir desta segunda década em todo o mundo. Porque então, não abreviar a questão e iniciar a tradução? O acordo ortográfico já estabelecido amplia magistralmente esse processo... Tradução já!
