A couple of weeks ago we announced that we were
working on a few changes and some new features. Our goal behind the
changes is to make Multiply easier to use for everyone. We all know
that Multiply is more fun when more of our friends get on board and
start sharing their stuff too.
In our new design we’ve simplified the toolbars.
The left side navigation (see the first picture below) makes it easy
for you to get to all of your content, your messages, your contacts and
groups, and various settings. More importantly, this toolbar remains
the same on just about all pages, including when looking at your
personal pages (unless you’re using a premium theme). This is different
from now, where if you are looking at your content you’ll see the same
right toolbar as you would if looking at somebody else’s.
The new top toolbar will only contain 5 links. “Home”
will replace what was “Welcome”. The “Explore and “Post” links expand
to show the options in the pictures below. There will also be links to
“Invite” and “Logout”. The current “Network” and
“Settings” links will be replaced by the options on the new left
toolbar. Opportunities to order prints and upgrade your account are in
appropriate places within the product so we'll be removing “Shop” too.
