In all the shuffle and
hubbub around
new
features and
updated
features and
award
announcements, certain topics may very well fall through the
cracks, as ever-cracky as those little buggers can be. Things we meant
to mention right here on this very blog, but for whatever reason...
simply didn't.
Things such as even more awards! For
instance, did you know that Multiply was recently selected as an
honoree in the
Social/Networking
category of the 2007 Webby Awards? We knew about this, and
yes, we're actually quite honored (even mentioning it in our last
monthly newsletter), but it still sort of slipped our minds while on
our endless quest for more things Multiply-related to highlight on this
very blog.
For the uninitiated, a bit about Webby
award winners (like us):
Some
[websites] are beautiful to look
at and interact with. Others are a testament to usability and
functionality. And a handful excel across the board. To be selected
among the best is an incredible achievement worthy of praise -- and
perhaps a little bragging.
As a result of the
superior quantity and quality of sites entered,
the 11th Annual Webby Awards recognized sites and teams that
demonstrated a standard of excellence.
So please don't get us wrong... we're
quite pleased to accept the honor associated with being a Webby
honoree, even if we could have mentioned it sooner.
