Multiply's posts with tag: custom themes

What are tags? You can give your posts a "tag", which is like a keyword. Tags help you find content which has something in common. You can assign as many tags as you wish to each post.
View posts by people in your network with tag custom themes

Multiply now has tags, which let you easily organize the stuff on your site and find things you're looking for. Tags are key words that you can add to your posts to make them easy to find at a later time. That way people visiting your site can find everything you've posted that has something in common - and you'll be able to do the same on other people's sites. The next time you upload something new to Multiply, you'll be able to add tags that identify your content any way you want. Learn more about tags here.

It's been almost a month since we introduced Gold and Platinum accounts and we couldn't be happier with the response we've gotten. Still, quite a few people asked for even more video, music and photo uploads every month. So today we introduce Diamond accounts for people who want a lot more out of Multiply. See exactly what you get with a Diamond account here.

Users with Gold, Platinum or Diamond accounts now have yet another new site theme to choose from - this one's called Shadow Box (see image on the right) - and it's available now in our gallery. Preview Shadow box on our Themes page.

As always, let us know what you think of the changes. Thanks!

for everyone

We just added some great new features, including four more Gold and Platinum site themes, a "Summary" e-mail alert, and a tool to import photos from Flickr. And, by popular request, we've re-introduced the "table view" option, and made it much better than before. Here's the full list of what's new:

New site themes
Users with Gold and Platinum accounts now have four new custom themes to choose from. Check out Basecamp, Outburst, Avlack and Red Frog here. (Avlack shown to the right).

New e-mail alert summarizes "what you've missed"
We've added a new alert that, in one single e-mail, summarizes what's been shared by the people closest to you during the past week. This alert will the be the new default, replacing the alert that was sent each time a contact adds something new. Now you can post as much as you want without worrying that some of your contacts may be getting too many alert e-mails from Multiply. As always, you can change your alert settings here.

Improved performance

We've tweaked a few things behind the scenes to make Multiply pages come up faster. We're working hard to keep up with the increased demand from our user base.

Display your pages in table view

We've brought back the ability to display your pages in table view, although the feature is slightly different than it was before. Now you can fully control whether your pages are displayed in table view or as full entries. Visitors to your site cannot change that setting, as they could before. Just go to the Settings page and select Page Titles and Layout to check it out.

Flickr import

If you've ever posted photos on Flickr, you can now bring them over to Multiply, where it's much easier to share them with your network. Just click on the New link at the top of any page, select Photos and you'll see a link to import from Flickr.

Improved Linear/Blog layout

We've improved the linear/blog layout so that it displays all of your content in one list, with "next page" links for easy navigation.

Expanded search results

The Search box at the top of any page is an easy way to find content shared by people in your network. And now it's also an easy way to find other Multiply users and groups, and answers to frequently asked questions about the site. Just enter the word(s) or name you're looking for and we'll show you everything that matches.

No more wondering how long it will take your video to upload

We've added a progress indicator for video uploads, so you can see approximately how much time is remaining until your upload is complete.

for everyone
As promised, we've upgraded the site with a few of our most highly-requested features, including video, music and custom themes! The highlights:

Video

This has been one of our most requested features since Multiply went live, and now it's here. Finally, an easy way to share videos on-line! Check out the Video tab on your site.

Music sharing

Now you can upload music and other audio files to your Multiply site. If you're a musician, sharing your songs with your entire network is a great way to get people listening to your stuff and talking about it. Check out the Music tab on your site.

Themes

Everyone wants to make their home page look a little different and stand out from the rest. Now you don't have to be a web designer to do it. Everyone can select from a number of custom color schemes to personalize their Multiply site! Check it out on the Settings page.

Lighter, easier look-and-feel
We've streamlined Multiply's look to make pages easier on the eyes and faster to load. Plus we've made searching easier by adding a "search" box at the top of every page. There's also an "on-line" indicator on every user's site now, so you can see if someone's currently on-line, or when they last visited Multiply.

No more storage limits
Now there's no need to worry about how close you're getting to the storage limit, because there isn't one. We've switched to a different model - one that will allow you to continue to upload plenty of content, while allowing us to keep our monthly bandwidth costs consistent. Every month, you can upload as many as 150 photos - far more than the average Multiply user shares in a month - and 20 songs (or audio files), with a chance to significantly increase those numbers, as well as the amount of video you can upload. We'll explain in just a moment. And you can continue sharing as many journals, calendar events, reviews, marketplace listings or links as you want. Most importantly, there is no overall limit to the amount of stuff you can share on your Multiply site.

Gold and Platinum accounts
We've said it's "coming soon" for quite a while, and now it's finally here. Our brand new subscription service includes a host of great features! The classic Multiply service - the same things you've been doing since we first went live - will continue to be free of charge. Gold and Platinum accounts will let you get A LOT MORE out of Multiply. Here are the details...
