Yeah, so that was a lot of... actually, not much at all.
Basically, just your standard needless panic cautious preparation.

Sorry if we had you worried!

Blog EntryPre-Hurricane Ernesto NoteAug 28, '06 5:42 PM
for everyone
This is the state of Florida with a big red ominous streak covering 85% of it.So it seems Hurricane Ernesto is on its way towards, oh, pretty much the entire state of Florida. And our little corner of it (better known as Boca Raton) is that little white dot on the map. Keeping last year in mind, clearly, no one is looking forward to this eventuality... but if Ernesto were to hit us, you needn't worry about the website, which is hosted a thousand-plus miles up the east coast.

Of course, feel free to worry about us if you don't hear anything for a while.

Blog EntryOur new home!Nov 11, '05 4:53 PM
for everyone
It took about a week - after it became obvious that our old office was down for the count - but we found a new place, just a few miles from the old one (check out the picture). Now that we're all moved in, things are slowly getting back to normal... finally.
We want to thank everyone for being so patient with us during this hurricane madness and, of course, for all the kind words. Thanks!
Oh, and one more thing... we'll have a new release out pretty soon, featuring a nice make-over of the Welcome page. We'll post the announcement here when it's ready.

Blog EntryHurricane UpdateNov 1, '05 9:50 AM
for everyone
It's been more than a week since Hurricane Wilma passed over South Florida and we wanted to give you a quick update. As you saw from the photo in our last post, our office sustained quite a bit of damage and we're still waiting for the city to tell us when we can go back. In the meantime, most of our staff have either regained electricity and Internet access at home or found someplace outside of Florida to stay for a while. We're proud that the site has remained up throughout this ordeal and we've been able to answer all of your inquiries just about as fast as normal.

We also want to thank everyone who's written to wish us the best. We really appreciate it!

More news as it comes in...

Blog EntryHurricane WilmaOct 26, '05 1:24 PM
for everyone

After two brutal hurricane seasons we're starting to seriously question our choice of locations! Fortunately, everyone is safe and sound after hurricane Wilma passed through South Florida. Our offices, as you can see, didn't fare so well though!

Our production servers are tucked safely away in New Jersey, so you shouldn't experience any interruption in service during this time. Most of our staff still doesn't have Internet access at this point, so we may be a little slow in responding to your inquiries over the next few days. We'll keep you posted as we try to get back on our feet.

Back to the cleanup!
